nestled on the outskirts of the historic village of Glenreagh, in the beautiful Orara valley, about halfway between the city of Grafton, famous for its Jacarandas, and the popular tourist destination of Coffs Harbour on the north coast of NSW. My affair with miniature horses began in 2005 when, along with my mother Loraine, I purchased a silver dapple taffy pinto mare for my son, Matthew. The saying that you can’t stop at one is very true and from that one we went on to purchase four more mares and three stallions, Thi Hi Jo Jo White, Little Bucks Mr Classic and Howling Wolf Ranch the X Factor. We have now bred seven foals and are about to try our hand at showing. The stud is, by necessity, small (we only have 7 acres) so we are able to give our horses the attention that they deserve. My aim is to breed quality, well handled and trained horses that can be used as lead line mounts for small children, and in the discipline of harness driving which is growing in popularity. I have definite goals for my stud and will strive to achieve them. I want to breed the best conformation and temperament that I can, along with attractive colours that will please the eye.
